Choose a place for your vacation from the plane
To get to the island of Ugljan you need to take the ferry at Zadar. The crossing takes 25 minutes and you disembark right at Preko, the main tourist destination of the island. It is known to lure tourists by its beaches and its charming paved promenade with lots of cosy cafés. There are both pebble and sandy beaches so everyone will be satisfied. Families with small children prefer sandy beach Jaz because the sea is very shallow and safe here. There are also climbing frames and a waterslide for kids and a beach volleyball court for adults. Several cycle tracks and footpaths begin in Preko as well.
