Orebić is a little port on the so-called Captain's Riviera, located on the south-eastern part of Pelješac Peninsula. It is protected from strong winds by the surrounding mountains. Owing to this fact, it has a mild climate and long summers. You can enjoy lovely views on the untouched natural scenery and also some good wine. Wine cellars are very popular here and you have to try local quality wines such as Dingač, Postup, and Pelješac. In Orebić, there are beautiful pebble beaches. On the periphery you can visit a sandy beach named Trstenica which in some parts has pebbles, or a mixture of sand and pebbles.
